The Yeshiva of North Jersey (formerly the Yeshiva of Hudson County) was instituted in 1979 in Bergen County and has established a reputation for excellence in both Jewish and general education. Charged with the sacred responsibility of fostering the intellectual, spiritual, and social growth of Jewish children in the suburban communities of northern New Jersey, YNJ presents a vibrant learning atmosphere that is founded upon timeless Torah values and knowledge. That atmosphere provides the Yeshiva's students with clear and consistent messages of ethical conduct, modesty, selflessness and service of the Divine Will - messages which are often ignored, even belittled, in contemporary society.
