Legacy Christian Academy is a new school borne out of a previously existing Christian school in existence for 25 years. We are accredited by International Christian Accrediting Agency and New Mexico Public Education Department. We are dedicated to high academic and spiritual standards. Our goal is to prepare strong Christian leaders for college and/or ministry.

Diane Baker has impacted the lives of many in the course of her career. Starting as a special education teacher in 1974, working her way up to an administrator/principal at various schools. She has been involved in education for more than 32 years as both a teacher, principal and an administrator.

Legacy Christian Academy is one of three private schools in Alamogordo. Formed in 2007, the school offers courses for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The 627 kids from 18 Otero County schools, along with home-schoolers, weren't the only ones impressed with Mesa Verde Ranch Days, held Tuesday and Wednesday west of La Luz.
