Welcome to St. Bonaventure Indian Mission and School. Located amid the beautiful red mesas of Northwestern New Mexico, St. Bonaventure Mission serves the Navajo living on the Eastern Navajo Nation. In addition to operating a tuition-free school, St. Bonaventure Mission provides extensive human services for those living in poverty. The Mission also operates a thrift store and is a major local employer. St. Bonaventure Indian School is a private, Catholic school located at the southeastern edge of the Navajo Nation in Thoreau, NM. The school is one of the ministries of St. Bonaventure Indian Mission which serves the Diné of the area. t. Together, we complete a 'Circle of Love' that bears witness to God's constant love and represents a future that offers great promise.
