Corpus Christi School

The mission of Corpus Christi School is to foster the development of the whole person.
Our mission at Corpus Christi School is both privilege and challenge.
It is privilege in that it calls us to partner with Christ in sharing the message of the gospel, a message of hope and unconditional love.
Our mission is challenge in that the very gospel values it lives and shares find a counterculture response in a society often dominated by consumerism, waste, and by neglect of the poorest among us.
We strive to provide a school environment permeated with the gospel values of love and freedom. The inclusion of religious art works and symbols, while not fundamental in themselves, actually points the way to what is in essence fundamental, namely faith in Christ.
The transition since Vatican II from the Catholic school as institution to the Catholic school as community is evident at Corpus Christi.
Every person directly involved in Corpus Christi School is a part of this community, this family.

School Notes

  • Corpus Christi is a TK-8, co-ed Catholic school. Our academic approach develops engaged minds, cultivates work ethic, and fosters a lifelong love of learning. We encourage curiosity, critical thinking and rigorous analysis. Not only do our students master subject matter but they graduate possessing the skills to succeed in high school and beyond.
  • Because an excellent education develops the whole child, our broad curriculum and extra-curricular activities nurture leadership, social, artistic, personal and athletic ability. Corpus Christi athletics emphasize sportsmanship and skill, while our arts programs encourage historic knowledge and participation. Our focus on social and emotional learning helps students build self-confidence, self-discipline and respect for each other.
  • Ultimately we measure ourselves by the strength of our students` character. We develop young people who proactively give of themselves to improve the lives of others and who graduate prepared and committed to improve our world.
  • As a Catholic school, we practice our faith through daily prayer, weekly liturgy attendance and regular sacrament receipt. We demonstrate our faith through our moral and ethical choices. We live our faith by treating others as we wish to be treated.
