Calvary Chapel Christian School
School Notes Overview:
Calvary Chapel Christian School was founded in September of 1987 as an education ministry to serve the members of Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes. Since then, the purpose has been expanded to also include Christian families who do not fellowship at CCFL. The school began with grades K-3. Through the years CCCS has progressively added grade levels, finally realizing its first high school graduation in June 2001. This was the fulfillment of the vision given to us through Isaiah 54:13, "And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children." Calvary Chapel Christian School is an outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes. It is our purpose to provide a Christ-centered, Bible-based, academically excellent education for all children who attend. We seek to teach our students to live godly lives and to prepare them to be faithful servants of Jesus Christ. Students receive instruction daily from God’s Word. Our textbook is the Bible itself; taught "line upon line" as led by the Holy Spirit. Most other subjects utilize books and materials from Christian publishers, such as A Beka and Bob Jones University Press....
