The Family School's mission is to provide socioeconomically, racially and culturally diverse populations with warm, inclusive Montessori environments that foster independence, creativity, tolerance and academic excellence.
The Family School, located across the street from the United Nations and on the grounds of Dag Hammarskj ld Plaza, houses seven classrooms, an art room, gymnasium, small library and outdoor play area.
A multitude of specials, such as Tae Kwon Do, dance, computer, chess, drumming, yoga and foreign languages support and deepen the curriculum at every level.
