The French-American School of New York seeks to introduce students to the diversity of a global society through the tools of language and culture while at the same time promoting academic excellence, encouraging personal development, and maintaining a supportive and stimulating environment. The mission of The French-American School of New York is to provide a bilingual, bicultural French and American education to an American, French, and international student population from Grades N-10; to encourage academic excellence throughout the program by meeting or exceeding both the rigorous requirements of the French National Ministry of Education and the highest standards of American independent education; to prepare and support students to succeed in their post-FASNY education as they enter an American high school or the French system; to promote respect and appreciation for diverse cultures; to counsel and support all students as they seek to achieve excellence; and to promote students’ personal development by offering as broad as possible a spectrum of artistic, athletic, and extra-curricular programs. ...read more
