Despite living in a very good school district, my husband and I decided we wanted to send our children to a Christian school whose values were similar to ours. We chose Valley Stream Christian Academy. Our children attended from pre-k through 12th grade. They graduated from VSCA and have gone on to college. They have done very well in college because of the preparation they received at VSCA. Not only were they taught all the regular school classes, but they had to learn the Word of God as part of the school curriculum. Our hope in sending our children there was that what we taught at home would be reinforced in school, and it was. Teachers are dedicated and committed. Students receive a good combination of secular and Christian curricula. Graduation rates are almost 100%. Excellent school. Highly recommended.
