Hawthorne Valley School is committed to the ideals, insights, and methods of Waldorf education, founded by Rudolf Steiner. This education recognizes the integration of body, soul, and spirit as the foundation of education and purposefully nurtures health, soul balance, and moral development in the growing child. Hawthorne Valley Farm will hold a “Tasting Event” at Hawthorne Valley Farm Store from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. The free event is open to the public and will feature specialty holiday foods made on Hawthorne Valley’s certified biodynamic farm.
