Hoosac School, founded in 1889, is a coeducational, college preparatory school. School Notes:

  • Hoosac students receive individual attention with a 5:1 student/teacher ratio. The structured setting and proactive advisor program provide support to an internationally diverse student body. The college-preparatory curriculum includes AP courses and an ESL program. Facilities include a technology lab, athletic center with indoor pool, observatory, and arts center. The rural campus setting is ideal for camping, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding. Hoosac fields strong teams in many sports and is represented especially well in ice hockey, soccer, baseball, and lacrosse.

    HOOSICK, N.Y. -- Playing its second game in as many days, the Mount Everett boys soccer team came out a bit sluggish. Thankfully for them, so did Hoosac School. But it wasn’t sluggish long, as an offensive eruption in the second half led to a 3-2 win for Mount Everett.

This will be an intensive four-week program with classes at 40 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, starting Monday, Sept. 21t and ending Thursday, Oct. 22, given at the Hoosick Fall Youth Center, 119 Church St.

    On offense and mound, Wyatt Ronan helps Eagles to a win over the Hoosac School. HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. — The Mount Everett baseball team got its third consecutive solid pitching effort to start the year, with Wyatt Ronan's four-hitter lifting the Eagles (3-0) to a 12-1 win over the Hoosac School.
