LBCRS is supported by three parishes: St. Ignatius Martyr (Long Beach), St. Mary of the Isle (Lido Beach) and Our Lady of Miraculous Medal (Point Lookout).
Founded in 1954, our school continues to enrich the lives of the children who live on the barrier island and beyond.
We also welcome students from Atlantic Beach, Lawrence, Island Park, Oceanside, Baldwin and Freeport. All students are afforded an spiritually rich education offering excellence in all areas of the curriculum. Our AIS programs offer students added individualized support along with classroom interventions.
We also offer Enrichment programs and a wide array of afterschool and athletic programs for students in Grades 2-8.
We take great pride in having the first Surf Team as a Catholic Elementary school on Long Island! Our doors are always open to any prospective students and of course to alumni who would like to take a stroll down memory lane and see all the great things going on at LBCRS!
