Our Lady Of Grace School
School Notes Overview:
Our Lady of Grace School is an extension of the family and Church. We strive to create an environment in which each child is nurtured and encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually, culturally, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our Lady of Grace aims to provide the best opportunity to realize the three-fold purpose of Christian education: to teach the message of salvation, to promote fellowship in the life of the Church through regular worship, communal prayer and school liturgies and to encourage service to all. We believe that by modeling the teaching of Jesus, we provide our students with education that fosters the values of self-worth, self-discipline and respect for others. We aim to instill in our students an awareness of the responsibilities of service to others and stewardship in our community. We attempt to develop skills and attitudes that will lead to a lifelong desire to acquire knowledge, that will enable students to approach new concepts and skills with the confidence that is necessary for mastery, striving to one’s best; a positive approach to challenges; the ability to make the correct choice and to promote consistent non-violent responses to difficult situations. The academic purpose of the school is central within the context of the Christian environment....
