Park Slope Christian Academy

98 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11217-0112
Park Slope Christian Academy is a school located on Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn's historic Park Slope neighborhood. We offer a customized Christian education with a curriculum that represents the "best of" what is available within the realm of private education. Our curriculum does not simply stress memorization or rote skills, but critical thinking, logical reasoning, and higher level skills. We believe that these are the skills necessary for children to understand both their faith and the world around them. Later on in life students will draw from these skills for success. Founded in 1991, Park Slope Christian Academy is a ministry of Park Slope Christian Tabernacle Church, located in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn. PSCA is an extraordinary small school, which offers a customized curriculum stressing Biblical values, critical and analytical thinking, and all the essentials of an outstanding early childhood, elementary and middle school education. We serve young people grades pre-k through grade 8. Our teachers are not only uniquely qualified but are caring and compassionate. Class sizes are among the smallest in NYC, with an average of 10 students to each class. This, combined with a consistent emphasis in character building, and one-on-one learning, translate to high student achievement!
