St Joseph Elementary School

39 Gebhardt Rd, Penfield, NY, 14526-0145
We are a Catholic elementary school of the Diocese of Rochester, providing pre-school through grade six education, with a commitment to developing the spiritual, social, and academic growth of each individual child. Founded in 1959 and becoming a Diocesan school in 1992, we have a current enrollment of 370 students. We at St. Joseph School seek to create an environment that encourages an awareness of Christ in ourselves. It is our aim to function as a Christian community in which freedom to grow, tempered with self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility toward others, can develop. Within this framework, we provide an education, encouraging each student to develop an awareness and appreciation for the cultural diversity represented at St. Joseph School and within our society. We also strive to provide opportunities for each student to develop his/her God-given potential.
