    At its Oct. 8 meeting, the Wales Town Board adopted Supervisor Rickey Venditti’s 2010 spending plan of $1.4 million as its preliminary budget. The proposed budget calls for reductions in both the tax rates of the general and highway portions of about $0.02 and $ 0.08 per $1,000 of assessed valuation, respectively. The board needs to adopt a final budget by Nov. 20.
