Maplebrook School is a coeducational boarding and day school for students with learning differences and/or attention deficit disorder. Founded in 1945 by parents seeking better educational opportunities for their children, the school has grown to be one of the most prominent schools of its kind. Maplebrook is more than strong academics dedicated to the creation and the nurturing of academic, artistic and athletic skills; but also a school devoted to the growth and the guidance of the character of each of our students. Experience has proven that character values such as trust, honesty, respect, citizenship, caring, fairness, faith, and responsibility contribute immensely to the future success of our students and are the backbone of our goal to "Educate the Heart". The mission of Maplebrook School is to provide quality academic programs for the youngster who is considered a slow learner, and/or who may exhibit a learning disorder. Through small group and individualized instruction, the student will be assisted in reaching his/her academic, social, vocational and physical potential.
