Originally founded in Georgetown, CT in 1975, Ridgefield Academy has been known for academic excellence and a strong commitment to character education. We are a child-centric school, blending an academic curriculum that covers the core branches of knowledge with a broad and stimulating variety of enrichment activities, all in a close-knit, supportive learning environment. The mission of Ridgefield Academy is to educate and encourage students to become knowledgeable, independent thinkers who are passionate about learning and embrace new challenges with confidence and enthusiasm. We maintain high academic standards and emphasize the importance of responsibility, respect, and service to others in all areas of school life.
