At Apostolic Christian Academy, Kindergarten students learn to read using the phonics method. Academic emphasis is on reading, writing and arithmetic. Social emphasis is on courtesy, respect, obedience, kindness, sharing, order, and good work and play habits. A Beka Book Christian curriculum now used by over 17,000 schools. There are normally around 14 students in the Kindergarten class each year. Average achievement is one year and six months ahead of the national norm on computer-scored, standardized national achievement tests.
