THE BARNESVILLE Exempted Village School District took a progressive step toward being more "green" at Thursday's meeting. The board voted to implement the state-initiated Energy Conservation Program, which will decrease the district's energy consumption. The cost is about $900,000, which will be paid for with an interest-free loan.
