School Notes Overview:
Immaculate Conception School is a Catholic Elementary School dedicated to the development of the student spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically within a Christian atmosphere. ICS has continued the solid foundation of Faith and Catholic tradition that was handed down to us since 1924. More than 2010 students have graduated from ICS. Here is where the students are reinforced in the faith and beliefs of the Catholic Church that are taught and supported in the home. Students come to know and love Jesus. The entire staff shares with the parents the responsibility and adventure of educating each child. Each student is considered to be a unique expression of God's creativity and is respected and encouraged as an individual to develop in his/her faith. With the combined efforts of the church, school, and home, each child will have the preparation necessary to meet the challenges of later years and will be able to find success and fulfillment as a mature Christian, aware of basic principles and prepared to accept adult responsibility....

PORT CLINTON -- Students at Immaculate Conception School raised nearly $1,000 recently during the Pennies for Pets fundraiser to help fund the Humane Society of Ottawa County, with the fifth-grade class winning a pizza party and a visit by Humane Society shelter staff and residents Tuesday.
