Foothill Country Day School
School Notes Overview:
Foothill Country Day School is a place where the superior student would find stimulation and excitement in learning and the good learner would be challenged to put forth his best efforts. But even greater than our concern for academics has been our determination to do an old fashioned thing, to build character in our children--to stress honesty, courtesy, responsibility, and a concern for others. At Foothill Country Day School, a strong foundation is established in the fundamental skills of reading, writing, and mathematics, as well as development of strong study skills. Oral expression and critical thinking are practiced as they are intrinsically valuable and essential to the future success of our students. Through a curriculum that is accelerated by at least one year, a love of learning becomes an important aspect of life at Foothill Country Day School. ...
