Montessori Center Of South Dayton
School Notes Overview:
The Montessori Center of South Dayton, Inc. (MCSD) is a private, nonprofit Montessori school devoted to offering a Montessori education to children between the ages of three and nine (pre-K through 3rd grade). MCSD traces its roots to 1964, when it rented space in the Horace Mann School in Dayton and was known as the Montessori School of South Dayton. In 1967, its own facility was built in Kettering. As the school grew, we rented additional space from the United Church of Christ on Bigger Road in Kettering. We again outgrew that space, and in 1988, moved to our current location within the Kettering Educational Arts Center at 2900 Acosta Street in Kettering, and became the Montessori Center of South Dayton, Inc....
