School Notes Overview: |
At the Elms, Catholic values and traditions serve as the foundation upon which our curriculum is built. The four pillars of the Dominican Order - prayer, study, community, and preaching - are woven throughout the Elms experience. At Our Lady of the Elms, prayer, study, community, and preaching are not just part of the experience. They are the experience. The threads of these traditions run through each physics experiment, each volleyball game, and each class retreat. Woven into each history test, each choir concert, and each geometry proof, they form the framework and the tapestry of life at the Elms. At the Elms, we offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity. The only all-girls high school within a five-county area, the Elms campus is a vibrant and engaging learning community. Young women from many cultural, religious and socio-economic backgrounds are taught by experienced faculty with particular expertise in teaching girls. Small class sizes allow for individualized attention and personalized instruction. Elms girls become confident, articulate, compassionate and innovative.
