It was this humble beginning of a school that evolved into what we know today as St. John Central Grade School. BELLAIRE - St. John Central Grade School will be closed today and Wednesday because of absenteeism due to illness. While there have been no reports that the absences are related to the H1N1 virus, Principal Joseph DeGenova did say the school is treating it as if it were - but only as a precaution. "We've got kids coming in here with sniffles and a cough," DeGenova sai.
