Nearly 150 years ago, in 1858, Father Jacquett established a school for the instruction of children of Catholic parishioners in Bellaire, Ohio. It was this humble beginning of a school that evolved into what we know today as St. John Central Grade School. Undoubtedly, Father Jacquett had strong beliefs about Catholic education when he formed the first classes of St. John Grade School. The important role that Catholic education played in the lives, the beliefs contained therein. St. John Central Grade School is accredited by the OCSAA and is in the process of reaccredidation.
