Downtown Bellaire filled with action (The Times Leader)

BELLAIRE - More action scenes were filmed here Thursday for the major motion picture "Unstoppable." Three helicopters again took the air for an impressive display of flight as they maneuvered over buildings and hovered briefly over the moving train while a stunt man raced across the top of one of the cars. The excitement of the filming has a lot of people here talking.
Sickness closes grade school (The Times Leader)

BELLAIRE - St. John Central Grade School will be closed today and Wednesday because of absenteeism due to illness. While there have been no reports that the absences are related to the H1N1 virus, Principal Joseph DeGenova did say the school is treating it as if it were - but only as a precaution. "We've got kids coming in here with sniffles and a cough," DeGenova sai.

With classes recently returning to session after the summer break, school leaders are going to battle as they attempt to prevent cases of H1N1, or Swine Flu, within their building.
Stolen SJC items returned (The Times Leader)

BELLAIRE - All of the reported items stolen from St. John Central High School have been recovered and returned to the school after someone reported finding them in a South Wheeling alley. According to Wheeling Police Det. Frank Kuca, someone, possibly a worker from the Wheeling-LaBelle Nail plant, reported seeing a box in the alley near 31st Street that contained the items.
