St. John The Baptist School

St. John the Baptist School in Harrison. Our community enjoys a deep history and tradition, providing a quality Catholic education to the students in the area.
I am happy to be associated with such a fine institution that offers an outstanding education for students in grades K-8, and I hope that you will find SJB to be a wonderful school for your children.
Our first and foremost goal is the faith formation of our students, which is reinforced with daily prayer and weekly mass for the school.
Our school adjoins St. John the Baptist Church, which has a rich history in the area and is blessed with many active and caring parishioners.
Of course, we pride ourselves in providing an excellent academic education as well, with our students consistently scoring in the top 25% of the Terra Nova standardized tests, which are given to students in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
SJB students perform at such a high level largely due to our rigorous curriculum, our highly-involved families, our supportive parish and our highly-qualified teaching staff; and our students go on to meet with real success in high school and beyond.
In our front lobby you will see our Wall of Fame, a list of students who have gone on to be valedictorians and successful students after completing their education here.
We value the accomplishments of our students and applaud them.
We also believe in developing the social conscience and community awareness of our students, and they are given lessons about how to care for each other, whether it be through their daily interactions or through formalized community service.
