Classroom teachers at St. Mary are dedicated to the care and education of the whole child. The classroom teaching experience of our faculty averages 21 years - more than 44 percent of our teachers hold Master's Degrees or post-graduate credits. All religion teachers are certified catechists with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Each teacher works closely with the principal and specialists to develop the full potential of each child. Parents are the primary educators of their children and their involvement in our school is applauded and appreciated. This year, as 200 million Chinese students study English, fewer than 50,000 American students will study Chinese. While virtually 100 percent of European and Asian elementary students study a second language, 97 percent of Ohio and Kentucky students do not because their schools don't offer one.

In China, millions of students understand "Who among us can read this?" In the United States, only 50,000 might understand Nationwide, schools have been losing the language race for decades. Close to home, language programs have sprung up in recent years - in pockets.

A quick entry to an online singing contest sponsored by Build-a-Bear Workshop has led 11-year-old Claire Piorkowski of Hyde Park a little closer to realizing her dream of becoming a professional singer.

A quick entry to an online contest has led 11-year-old Claire Piorkowski of Hyde Park a little closer to realizing her dream of becoming a professional singer. Claire was one of 500 applicants from across the country who submitted a video performance of the song, "Let's Talk About Love" as part of a singing contest sponsored by Build-A-Bear Workshop.
