It should be a weekend to remember for St. Paul and Monroeville fans. The weekend will be highlighted by the return of the 1969 Flyer state championship team and coach Mike Gottfried. A dinner will be held tonight then the team will be introduced at Saturday night’s football game.

The high school volleyball second season kicks off next week. Regular season records will become meaningless as the teams play in ‘win or go home’ games.
St. Paul to honor 1969 state champions (Norwalk Reflector)

The 1969 St. Paul High School state championship team will hold a 40-year reunion Oct. 30 and 31. A dinner and reception will be held at the St. Paul gathering space Oct. 30, then the team will be honored at Saturday night's football game against Monroeville at Whitney Field.
