Cervantes Will Make Feature Film Debut at Asheville Festival (The Ponca City News)

Ponca Citian Isaac Cervantes is heading to the Asheville Film Festival for the premier of "War Stories," a movie directed by Emmy award winner and Uncheckable Films founder, Lee Whitman. The Festival is Nov. 12 - 15 in Asheville, N.C. War Stories will debut at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13.

Car Wash — Cheerleader Car Wash at First Lutheran School parking lot, at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. $5 per vehicle. Profits go for cheerleader camp and uniforms.
Five Girl Staters Begin Activities (The Ponca City News)

Five Ponca City girls have been chosen as delegates to Girls State, which meets in Norman today through May 30. Five alternates also were chosen. The delegates are Kelsey Hays, Kristen Brunkow, Anna Bookout, Kathryn Lee and Maggie Bowker.
