At First United Methodist Early Learning Center, a quality early childhood program considers the whole child: his physical, mental, and spiritual growth. Therefore, our purpose as a church-sponsored center shall be to provide a Christian setting where children have the opportunity for developing basic skills and appropriate social behavior, in a cheerful, success-oriented environment. Our emphasis will ber upon creative, individualized learning experiences as well as the group living experiences that are important to the child at this stage of his life. All classes will meet for chapel once a month. The First United Methodist Early Learning Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, or any other school administered programs. Our center is certified by the State of Oregon's Child Care Division. A copy of CCD rules, as well as recent inspection reports are available on request. Any concerns should be taken to the Director or church Administrative Council and secondly to the CCD.
