    LEWISTOWN - Carla E. Byler has announced her intention to run a write-in campaign for the Magisterial District Judge in District 58-3-03, which includes the townships of Armagh, Brown, Menno and Union in Mifflin County. Byler narrowly lost in the May primary to incumbent Magisterial District Judge Tammy Hunter, who has served the district for six years.
  • Wayne Bond begins his work as BMS superintendent (The Lewistown Sentinel)

    BELLEVILLE - Wayne Bond has worked in schools across the United States from Carnegie-Mellon University to Christian schools in Minneapolis and Pittsburgh. Though his experiences are wide and varied, Bond's career recently turned him to a new setting - rural Belleville. On July 1, Bond became the new superintendent of Belleville Mennonite School after the resignation of Ann Kanagy.
