Carlisle Early Education Center
School Notes Overview:
Carlisle Early Education Center is a private, local, non profit agency. CEEC is managed by a Board of Directors made up of community minded citizens of the Carlisle area and parents of children in the program. Carlisle Early Education Center has programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We also have a summer school program for children up to completion of the 4th grade. In our infant program we focus on meeting the daily needs of our infants and building the trust and emotional security that comes when infants learn that these needs will be met through daily interaction with responsive, affectionate adults. We strive to maintain continuity of staff in the infant room, where development of a lasting, one on one relationship with a familiar caregiver is particularly important. In our preschool program we strive to instill in each child a positive self image. We encourage children to develop a sense of independence and a motivation to explore creative outlets for their emotions. We encourage them to develop a sense of community based on self discipline and awareness of the needs of the other children....
