Players ages 13 to 15 are needed for a fall league to participate against other American Legion teams. The games are being used as a tryout for next spring’s Junior Legion team.

Tyrone Brunson, of 28th Street and Snyder Avenue, scored a unanimous eight-round decision over Marcos Primera Friday in Oklahoma, improving his ring mark to 20-0-1 with 19 knockouts. The three judges scored the fight 79-73, 79-73 and 78-74.
