The Gateway School is a licensed private academic school for students of average or above average intelligence who have learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, or those who are underachievers. The Gateway School has been building success stories - real success stories since it first opened its doors in 1977. Our teachers are trained, supportive instructors who care about your child's educational as well as social and emotional growth. Gateway School is a fully licensed private secondary school by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Each year recipients of Gateway's high school diploma go on to college, post-secondary programs, and the work place. The mission of Gateway School is to educate children who have a history of academic under achievement despite average or above average intellectual ability. The school accepts children from grades 7-12 in a program designed to help them become successful students and productive members of society. The Gateway School offers classes throughout the year. The Gateway School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
