Mount Gallitzin Academy
School Notes Overview:
Mount Gallitzin Academy is a Catholic Community rooted since 1869 in the charism of unity and reconciliation of the Sisters of St. Joseph. The mission of the school is to develop children into mature young Christian leaders with a deep respect for the human person and for all creation. To achieve its mission, the school provides an excellent academic program which integrates a holistic balanced curriculum. The curriculum is designed to promote Catholic values, social justice and personal service through caring relationships in a nurturing environment that honors each child as a gift of God. Our goals is to help students grow in knowledge of God, of self, and of the world; to help students discover and develop their unique God-given gifts; and to help relate the news of salvation, so that the life of faith — illuminated by knowledge — will provide students with the impetus to serve humankind....
