Founded in 1875, The Perkiomen School is an empowering experience that gives students the confidence to explore and grow.  Our students have ambitious goals and high ideals.  We provide each student with an experience uniquely combining opportunity and challenge, guidance and encouragement.  Perk offers an engaging academic program and a world of possibilities in a community that feels like family.
Located in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, Perkiomen's 172 acre campus is home to 360 students from over 25 countries and 10 states.  Classes average 12 students with a student to faculty ratio of 7 to 1.  Perkiomen is 45 minutes from Philadelphia, 2 hours from New York City, and 2 1/2 to 3 hours from Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
Over 150 courses, including 30 AP and 10 Honors courses are offered in Schumo Academic Center, Hollenbach Academic Center, and the Carnegie Library.  Courses include Spanish, Latin, German, and Chinese, plus popular electives.  In its third year, the iPad program was established to support teaching and learning and to expand opportunities for students to learn beyond the traditional classroom.

It has been a number of years since I graduated from Perkiomen School but one thing is still the same, quality & caring about education. Students are taught academics as well as life skills, that assure future success in whatever endeavor is undertaken. Perk is the whole package and I highly recommend this school.
