Perkiomen School

200 Seminary Street, Pennsburg, PA, 18073-0180
At Perkiomen “students are inspired to risk being their best.” Our mission is carried out through a residential program that instills the importance of being a valuable member of a close-knit community, an academic program that provides access to 36 Honors and AP courses, The Learning Center, supportive study halls and conference periods, and an after school program that encourages students to try something new -- from our nationally recognized baseball program, to “varsity” art, to theater and music, and Model United Nations. At Perkiomen, our motto: Solvitur Vivendo (Learning through experience) guides us as we inspire students. Whether Model U.N. students competing at U. Penn., band members performing off-campus, or students interacting with the "Burgermeister" in Hildesheim, Germany, active learning is a hallmark of a Perkiomen education.

About Girls' Schools: In Their Words
Published April 15, 2013
Here are a dozen or so girls' schools' public thoughts about themselves and their missions.

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.

Are You Liable? Are You Liable?
Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
