School Notes:
A remarkably unique Christian school, offering a nurturing Christian education for students K - 8. At PUCS we offer a Christian education experience that's relaxed and engaging, nurturing and rigorous, enriching and affordable. Our mission is to provide well-rounded private education for a racially and economically diverse group of children in an urban setting. At PUCS we prepare students in all academic areas, emphasizing creativity, leadership, service, self-discipline, and critical thinking. Each year, our student body takes the California Achievement Test and PUCS students have consistently averaged in the 80th percentile, above the national average the 50th percentile. At PUCS, we inspire our students to see the world as a whole, emphasizing the natural connections between subjects. Rather than teaching math separate from science or social studies distinct from art and music, the PUCS curriculum brings together content from multiple subjects into creative learning units.
