At St. Hilary of Poitiers School, we see our mission as being stewards of the Gospel message of Jesus.
Our stewardship impacts on the spiritual, academic, emotional, physical, and social needs of the child.
St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Elementary School is dedicated to the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
By embracing His teachings, the pastor, administration, faculty, auxiliary staff, parents and students serve and respect one another out of love for Our Lord.
Working together, we seek to develop each child spiritually, academically, emotionally, physically, and socially, utilizing each individual's gifts and talents within an atmosphere of peace.
At St. Hilary of Poitiers School, knowledge is viewed as a gift from God.
We encourage our students to discover and develop their individual talents and potential to the fullest.
Academic development is approached through a content, as well as a process-oriented, curriculum.
The means of fostering pedagogical growth vary according to the age and readiness of the student.
Our goal is to stimulate and challenge independent critical thinkers.
Thus, the students are taught to view their education as an ongoing process that will enable them to become informed Christians in tomorrow's society - Christians who have been exposed to our peace principles and conflict resolution skills.

SHS is a well kept secret in Rydal, PA. The school has an amazing staff who are truly concerned with each individual student and works with them to reach their highest potential. From math and science to art and music, this school will help your child go further than they could have ever imagined. The parent involvement are second to none. We have a large community of volunteers to create amazing fundraisers, unique programs and events that bring the school family together multiple times a year. I highly recommend SHS to any parent looking to give their child the best of the best.
