An auction and dinner will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m Saturday at St. John the Baptist School, South Broadway. A buffet, catered by Carson's, will be included. Cost is $12.50. Auction starts at 7 p.m.

The Southmoreland High School Band Boosters will hold its second annual night at the races Saturday at the Scottdale Firemen's Club. Doors open at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10. For tickets or more information, call Curt Ellenburger at 724-887-6091.
