  • Recommended March 05,2013 - My son was diagnosed with dyslexia 1/2 way through second grade and we sent him to Hillside...his is now is able to read on his own and enjoys it. He is a confident young man who understands that just because you struggle to read it doesn''t make you dumb! The teachers understood my son and his learning style. It is a great school.*-Posted by Parent *
  • Recommended February 27,2013 - The Hillside School sets the standard for private schools for children with learning disabilities. The highly trained faculty intuitively understood my son''s needs and met them through their multi-sensory teaching approach. It has been a joy (and a relief) to get his report cards and see his progression. He is now reading on grade level and actively preparing for college prep courses in high school. The Hillside School has given my son the tools he needs to experience success academically, socially and emotionally.*-Posted by Parent *
  • Recommended January 31,2013 - The small class sizes and caring staff have made all the difference for my son who struggles with reading. For a child who struggles in school, Hillside is a great place to allow them to regain their confidence and enjoy learning again.*-Posted by Parent *
  • Recommended January 31,2013 - There can be no substitute for a child''s self esteem. It is the root of which a child can learn for the rest of their education. Hillside meets the needs of every child without question. The teachers are there to build a foundation for your child; and you never get another chance to do it again. They are well trained and continue training constantly. Parents have a voice, and met with understanding and kindness. Give your child a chance, and visit Hillside. Our daughter is thriving, and we are so happy we brought her to Hillside and gave her the chance she deserves. Hillside parent 4years and counting*-Posted by Parent *

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.

Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
