School Reviews

  • Recommended March 21, 2013 - My daughter transferred mid-year to Masters Regional Academy from a public school. She felt warm and welcomed not only by the teachers and faculty, but also by her peers. Although the mid-year transition was at times overwhelming for my daughter, the faculty and staff at Masters set plans in motion to ensure that my daughter was successful in her subjects. Before long, I started to see a different side of my daughter. She would come home from school telling me how much she loved her day and how the teachers were so nice and encouraging. One day in particular, my daughter''s math teacher spoke with her before class. He said "anything is possible with God, so never to say you can''t do something". Math is the subject that my daughter has struggled with the most. However, she was inspired by him and I can see that she is really putting forth the effort to maintain a "B" in the class. A few more days had passed and my daughter said, "Mom, chapel was awesome . . . I want to get involved with our youth ministry next year and sing and learn to play the guitar . . . I think I can really make a difference." I see the works of God every time she speaks and this has moved me to tears. Also, the school assigned a female student, who is a junior, as a mentor to my daughter. My daughter shares a strong bond with her mentor and feels as though she is yet another person to connect with and someone to look up to . . . what a blessing! My daughter has found a school that she loves. She is interested in the academics and wants to pursue getting more involved in school activities as the opportunities present themselves! I am so honored that my daughter is a student at the Masters, which is a school of excellence and pride. I feel blessed that she is attending a school that promotes God, leadership, and encourages the children to learn while still making it fun and interesting. - Posted by Parent
  • Recommended October 27, 2012 - My son posted on his facebook yesterday "I''m Special". This was a positive step for him considering at his last school he endured relentless bullying from other students, causing him to have poor self-confidence. He really has struggled to fit in for a long time, but I believe that sending him to Masters is helping to develop his self-esteem, and I have seen that with improved self-esteem, his grades are steadily improving. What a difference from the last school he was in! His peers have been including him in activities outside of school, and my son has a smile on his face all the time. I am so appreciative of a faculty who wants my son to know he is special because He is made in God''s image. Every day he is encouraged to strengthen his relationship with Christ, and every day I see his confidence soar because he is growing in the confidence of Christ. Thought u may want to know his progress emotionally. His school work is also better so far. Afraid to even say it. Hope it continues! - Posted by Parent
