Nickerson House community center is a non profit, multifaceted social service agency located in Olneyville and for over 120 years, the agency has been a critical resource for some of rode island's neediest residents, young and old.
At Nickerson Community center, We structure learning experiences around the theory that children learn by doing, playing, observing and talking.
Therefore our classrooms are set up to provide children with choices as well as limits.
With these two features in a classroom, a child's natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning are maintained and deepened.
