The Charleston Catholic School

The Charleston Catholic School, born out of a Catholic identity, emphasizes spiritual, educational and individual values. The dedicated faculty stresses parent-teacher –student-parish interaction in a family oriented school setting. Each child is encouraged to develop his/her own spiritual identity with the Catholic tradition, especially in the areas of moral development, decision making and spiritual growth. Each child is encouraged to discover his/her own academic excellence through creativity, inquiry, and critical thinking. The opportunity to integrate imagination and discovery is offered in the Arts program. Physical development through Physical Education and the Special Arts Program is also emphasized. Each child will grow to understand the importance of self discipline, responsible decision making and respect for self and others. The child whose self-esteem benefits from these spiritual, educational, and individual values, will become a strong, academically sound individual, who lives a Christian life.
