Evergreen Playschool is located in the heart of Midtown Memphis across the street from Rhodes College. We are a small private school affiliated with Evergreen Presbyterian church but consider ourselves a diverse representation of our midtown community. We offer preschool classes for children ages 4 months to Kindergarten. We use a center-based curriculum in the classroom and believe that the process of an activity is more important than the product. We use hands on, creative, visual, sensory, and auditory elements to help the children experience the classroom in a variety of ways. We plan activities that provide the children with new experiences that extend their play into other areas such as language, critical and creative thinking, and social interactions.
