Art is an important part of our curriculum. Students decorated the Art Room in one of our Guided Inquiries.
Most students finish their work while at school. We strive for no homework because time spent with our families is important.
We use local experts and talented parents to enrich our curriculum. Our students are exposed to various crafts, sports and professions through in-depth studies.
Every day starts off with a morning meeting. Team building exercises - led by students- fosters a connected community.
A Midsummer Night's Dream....executed by the students. Everyone has a role to play either behind or in front of the curtain.
Greenway School is a private, independent middle school, grades 6-8. Founded in 1998 on a 20-acre wooded campus in West Knoxville, Greenway is fully accredited and teaches a college-track curriculum. All four of the full-time teachers hold Master's Degrees and have many years of experience. In a nurturing environment with hands-on learning in every subject, students are encouraged to advance to their highest level in classrooms of never more than 14 students. Every student is provided with a personal laptop computer, enriching off-campus studies, daily after-school supervision and tutoring until 5:30 -- all at no additional cost.
