Greenway School is a private, independent middle school, grades 6-8.  Founded in 1998 on a 20-acre wooded campus in West Knoxville, Greenway is fully accredited and teaches a college-track curriculum.  All four of the full-time teachers hold Master's Degrees and have many years of experience.  In a nurturing environment with hands-on learning in every subject, students are encouraged to advance to their highest level in classrooms of never more than 14 students.  Every student is provided with a personal laptop computer, enriching off-campus studies, daily after-school supervision and tutoring until 5:30 -- all at no additional cost.
