Currey Ingram Academy is a K-12, independent, college-preparatory day school for students with average to superior intelligence who have unique learning styles. The school offers individualized learning plans for every student and full host of arts, athletics and extracurricular activities. The school uses research- and evidenced-based approaches to educating each student and offers a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio (with academic classes typically ranging in size from five to 12 students, depending on the student's age and grade level). Families have enrolled from from 27 states and seven foreign countries in recent years, citing the school as a primary reason for their move to Middle Tennessee. Located just south of Nashville, Tennessee, Currey Ingram Academy is situated on a pastoral 83-acre campus with state-of-the-art facilities built in the years 2002-2010. A new student center and administrative building is under construction and set to open in 2013. The school is celebrating its 45th year in education this year.
