East Texas Christian School seeks to provide a course of study consistent with the Christian faith in order that committed students might be grounded in Biblical truth and wisdom, and prepared to become future Christian leaders in our society. — East Texas Christian School will have a Fall Fest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the school at 5621 FM 2087 in Longview. The festival will include more than 20 booths, three inflatables including an obstacle course, a cake walk, face painting, entertainment, craft table, sack decorating, picture booth and clowns. The Pine Tree Education Foundation is offering a way to honor a student's graduation year by purchasing an engraved brick to be placed in Pirate Plaza on the high school campus. About 200 students, teachers and local officials stood outside early Wednesday morning at East Texas Christian School.
