Live Oak School

Po Box 704, Calimesa, CA, 92320-0923
Live Oak's School daily schedule and curriculum provide a wide variety of opportunities for child directed activities while balanced with teacher directed activities. These opportunities allow a child to feel and experience him or herself as an important and unique individual. They allow children to develop responsible individual behavior. In our curriculum we strive to maintain a healthy mixture of social, physical, language, cognitive, creative art, and musical experiences. We want our activities to motivate children to learn, nurture a feeling of pride, help children learn about working with a group, and make school a fun place to be. Grades one through four are located on the Lakeview Campus. With a focus on meeting the needs of the whole child, the program provides a consistent balance between a nurturing environment and a focus on basic academic skills. The students enjoy weekly chapels, a fully-equipped computer lab, a well-stocked library, opportunities in vocal and instrumental music, and physical education intra-murals.
