On Friday, October 2, 2009, Heritage School of Fredericksburg hosted a ceremony to dedicate the first building on their new school campus to former teacher and Headmaster, David Norbert Herzog.

Big yellow buses will be taking to the roads; new lunch boxes and backpacks will be lined up by doors throughout Gillespie County and over 4,000 students will be returning to school -- most on Monday -- as a new year begins.
