The Woodlands School For Young Scholars mission is to meet each child's social, intellectual, emotional needs in an atmosphere that recognizes the importance of nurturing a "curiosity of learning" that will foster a love of learning for a lifetime. We strive to encourage your child's individuality, positive self-esteem, while fostering respect for others and the world around them. Our Classrooms are designed with children in mind. Research has shown that children need to follow their natural dispositions. They need to explore, question, create, wonder and play. T.W.S.F.Y.S. developmentally appropriate integrated program with a solid foundation in reading, writing, and mathematics. While meeting and exceeding the objectives of TEKS and National Educational standards. Our teachers are all experienced and trained in early childhood education and are chosen for their ability to nurture children as well as their professional training. Continuing educations is provided to ensure that our staff is knowledgeable on the latest and most effective teaching strategies. All staff members are certified CPR and first aid.
